DUAL PATHOLOGY PROGRAM
Users diagnosed with a chronic psychiatric disorder and with drug dependence criteria that do not manage to stay sober on an outpatient basis and require a medium to long-term hospitalization period for stabilization and subsequent referral to reintegration resources that are appropriate for them.
The General Objectives are:
Realize drug dependence and enable users to abstain from use and accept mental disorder.
At the same time, we work towards a restructuring of habits and behaviors influenced by drug dependency and they undertake a training for eventual social reintegration.
The specific objectives are:
– Admission and awareness of disease.
– Positive evaluation of abstinence.
– Promote healthy life habits.
– Assume responsibilities.
– Learn ways to use leisure time.
Makeup of the team:
The makeup of the team is multidisciplinary, consisting of:
-Director and Psychologist
-Coordinator of activities
Description of the program:
The program lasts for approximately one year, depending on the case, with subsequent referral to accommodation with support for the reintegration into the Association and, finally, to a socio-sanitary and mental health resource in one’s place of origin.
